The Watercourse Way is a humble black and white booklet of poems and illustrations created as a collaboration between artists Melody Overstreet and Vincent Waring. This book was created during an artist residency within Coast Miwok Territory and Marin County.

This book contains a small body of work compiled from original place-based charcoal drawings and co-written short form poems. The writing and illustrations were created in conversation with place, as the artists reflect on the various forces of change that shape a landscape over time. The work has been printed at the local library on heavy weight toned paper. Each copy is signed by the artists and hand-bound with waxed linen thread.
